Javier Betancourt
Team Leader

Experienced Chief of Party and Team Leader with a demonstrated history of working in the international finance, renewable energy and development industry. Skilled in Nonprofit Organizations project implementation, Business advisory, Corporate Finance, Project Finance, and Business Development. Strong experience with community and social engagement as well as pro poor, inclusive growth development models. Additional experience in the private sector as investment banker and financial sector regulator, with a Master's degree focused in Finance from London Business School. 

Charles Egonye
Deputy Team Leader

Charles Egonye is Deputy Team Lead, SUNREF Nigeria and also doubles as a full-time management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Nigeria. Charles has specialized expertise in advising both public and private sector clients across the broad spectrum of capital projects and infrastructure lifecycle ranging from conceptualization, planning, design, financing, procurement, delivery, management and optimization across various asset classes including but not limited to Real estate, Transport (road, seaport, railway, aviation), Energy and Agriculture sectors.

Charles holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Lagos Business School, Nigeria and IESE Business School, Spain.  He is also a member of PRINCE2 Project Management Institute, UK Government's Infrastructure and Project Authority-Certified Infrastructure Specialist and currently a doctoral student at the International School of Management, Paris

Kyle Karber
Program Manager

 Program Manager for Winrock International with a history of facilitating renewable energy development in Sub-Saharan Africa. Engineering background with a focus on applying systems thinking to international development problems. Strong research and analytics background, with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Ogechi Adiuku

Ogechi has 14 years of professional experience providing planning, monitoring, management and technical support to projects in the energy sector and is highly skilled in client, vendor and database management. On the SUNREF project, her work cuts across all segments and include providing administrative oversight, communications & marketing, training support and stakeholder engagement. She is a Chevening Alumna with an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering.
